WHO AM I?

This September I will start the biggest run of my life. #runacrossUSA.

My name is Tomasz Sobania, and some people call me #PolishForrestGump, because every year I go on a really long tour.

My goal is always to fulfill a sports dream, but also to publicize a charitable collection.

the goal of running across the usa IS SIMPLE!

  • Implement a public awareness campaign entitled. “You can do more than you thought possible.” Inspire people to act despite disabilities, disorders, diseases, and other life adversities.
  • Promote the Run Partners and influence the positive image of Poland in the USA.

Charity Goal

Adrian Furman, a social leader in a wheelchair, an extraordinary man, brave and open to helping others.

Creator of a foundation working for the interests of people with disabilities. For many years he has been actively promoting and implementing architectural, digital and information and communication accessibility for people with special needs in the broadest sense. Winner of many awards and prizes, including international ones. Expert speaker at industry conferences in Europe, the United States and Canada. Now, together with Tomasz Sobania, they are joining forces in America, implementing the “You can do more than you think” social campaign.

They will not only inspire people to take on challenges and realize their dreams. During the run, a collection will be launched to increase accessibility for people with disabilities. The funds raised will be used to purchase a minimum of 30 Accessibility Boxes - a tool to support alternative communication - for medical entities and other units that want to implement accessibility at home.

what are my plans while running?

Planned side events:

  • Start of the Run in Central Park, New York.
  • In Washington, a meeting in the US Congress United States with congressmen of Polish origin and sympathetic to Poland.
  • In Chicago, a run-up to Congress of 60 million.
  • A joint run across San Diego with Navy Seals soldiers.
  • The finish line of the Run at the Astronomical Observatory Griffith in Los Angeles, overlooking the sign of Hollywood.
